As part of the activites of macedonain Red Cross, recently was formed The unit for emergency intervention in mountain's accidents, the members of the unit have been on the course for giving first aid and transportation to the medical facility that ended at 21.04. the exams will be soon. At this time under way is completing the equipment neccesary for this unit, and at autumn another courses will begin accordingly to the program. On 30.04. will be open a Rescue station near "Dare Bombol" at Sredno Vodno that will cover the region of Vodno and Matka, and rest of the country for now. In this 6-members unit for now, the members are Sokolovski Slobodan and Petrusevski Boban from our club. |
On 09.04. Sokolovski Slobodan passed the course and get the title junior alpinist at Konstantin Ciriviri's exams (he has a UIAA licence for keeping this course in Macedonia). The criteria was: over 80 climbs on rock at 3 different climbing areas; minimum 20 climbs in winter conditions; climbing rock with 6th grade with alpine-climbing style; leading in praktice rock graded 6+ with free style, rescue action at rock, night climbing at rock; etc. Together with him Petrusevski Boban passed the exam for beginner-alpinist. Congratulations for both of them! |
