At 08.05.2005 - 07:15h from Skopje with one car started the tour four of us, me - Jakimovski Andreja, Dushko Hristov, Ilija Chilimanov and Blagoja Jankovski. We are going on the highway Skopje-Tetovo, we are going right near village Zelino and across village Jegunovce at 08:20h we are arriving at village Staro selo at 800 a.s.l. The weather is sunny and ahead of us is a wonderfull view toward Ljuboten and rest of the Shara summits. We are starting toward the top right away, first we walking on the asphalt road (it is going all the way to the refuge Ljuboten) and then going left on the trail through the forest. Somewhere above 1.500 meters there is already snow that has fallen the previus day. It was unusual and interesting to see the forest with young liefs and meadows with manny flowers covered with sudden spring snow.
Around 10:00h we are ariving at refuge Ljuboten at 1.615 a.sl. Around the refuge there is about 10sm snow that was melting quickly because of hot sunny weather. We are making a 30 minutes break and going further from 10:30h. The weather is changed slightly and now the clouds and the sun are changing above us and there is a wind that very strong when we get out on the ridge. The soft snow was higher and higher as we walked on the ridge, at some places more then 50 sm. The deep snow and strong wind at the ridge make this tour to look like real winter climb. Aroung 12:45 all four of us reached the summit at 2499m. Strangely the strenght of the wind was much lower and we could without problems to enjoy the wonderfull view from the top. Around 13:10h we started going back and at 14:40 we are already in the refuge. We are resting there at the hot sun untill 15:30h and then going back to village Staro selo where we are ariving at 17:00. We are back in Skopje at 18:00.
